Setting Up your account

Setting up a new account is the most important part of your association with trilinks and the link associates you will build in the future.

The setup process can appear difficult and time consuming but it is in fact a very simple one time procedure.

Put simply you have to confirm your email address, register your web pages and put a link to TriLinks on your links page.... That's it.... you can then start building as many non-reciprocal links as you desire.

The following is a more in-depth description of the setup process.

SET UP : Steps 1 to 4 are ONE OFF STEPS required to set-up your account. They are for your protection and that of your Link Associates

SET UP - Step 1 : Join - Membership is only AU$ 24.95 per year.

SET UP - Step 2 : Validate your email address.

  • Validate your email address (one time only). Once you have joined a welcome email is sent to your email address. You will need to click the link in the email to prove that the email address you have entered is accurate and a real address.

SET UP - Step 3 : Register your URL's

  • When you log-in for the first time you will be asked to register your web site URL's AND their associated Links Pages. These MUST be on the net as they will be checked to ensure they are real addresses.
  • Be sure that they are the URL's you intend to keep as they cannot be changed at a later date.

SET UP - Step 4 : Install links to trilinks

  • All URL's registered with trilinks (or the Links Pages associated with the URL's) must contain a link to trilinks .
  • You will receive an email with a link that will automatically verify that the link on a given URL Exists.
  • The links you are confirming will be checked by the system to ensure that they actually exist.

Types of Links Accepted - IMPORTANT

Unfortunately there is one limitation to trilinks

Only links stored in a mysql database or text links are acceptable to this program

Creating Threads
  • Creating Threads is a simple matter of choosing the category of business you are in and registering your URL's and Site description.
  • Being the creator or Instigator of the Thread only you can set the category and like minded webmasters can now join your thread.
  • When Position 3 on your thread is filled you will be notified of their information that you are required to put on your Links Page.
  • When this information is installed on your links page you need to confirm the link by clicking the confirmation link in the email you received.

Joining A Thread
  • To join an existing thread simply choose the Business Category that most closely fits your business and register your URL on that thread.
  • You will be notified by email of your associates Information that you are required to put on your Links Page.
  • When this information is installed on your links page you need to confirm the link by clicking the confirmation link in the email you received.

Thread Complete
  • When all 3 positions on the thread are filled the thread and the Non-reciprocal links has been established and you are on your way to building valuable links to your site

System Overview
  • Step 1 (The Instigator) creates a thread and sets the category of business in which he is involved.
  • Step 2 (The Median) takes up position 2 and places a link to the Instigator on his web sites links page.
  • Step 3 (The Anchor) now take up position 3 and places a link to The Median on his links page. At the same time The Instigator is advised to place a link to The Anchor on the Instigators Links page and the thread is complete.

Trial vs Paid Membership
  • Trial Members can create or join only 4 threads
  • Membership is only AU$ 24.95
  • Paid Up Members can make full use of the site and create as many Non-Reciprocal Links as they feel necessary to build their presence on the net.

 

How many Threads can I have ?
  • As many as you desire. The only stipulation is that you can only have 10 open Threads at one time. This prevents one individual monopolizing the site and make it fair for all. As soon as a thread is filled you can Create a new thread.
  • Even though you can only have 10 "Open" Threads you can "join" as many as you wish.
How Many Sites can I register ?
  • You can register as may sites as you own
Do all my sites have to have a link to trilinks .
  • If you have a Links Pages associated with your Web Page then each Links Page must have a link to trilinks on it.
  • If you are not running a Links Page we suggest that you create one or all of the Links you create or join, along with a link to trilinks , will have to placed on your "Front" page and this is not desireable.
Do I need to have a "Links Page"
  • It is highly recommended that you create a "Links Page" for the purpose of storing all the links to the new associates you will gather on trilinks
  • Links Pages MUST be accessible from your "Front Page" so the public and the search engines can find it.
Why do All Links have to be Text Links
  • A Text Link is as the term suggests, Text that contains a hypertext link that is placed directly on a web page. It is not a link that is stored in a database and displayed when the page is called.

    All links to your associates MUST be text Links. On this site we are not interested in web sites that attempt to get thousands upon thousands of links and become surrogate search engines. The Search engines place little if any store on this type of web site and even less on the links coming from this type of site. These sites are only interested in people linking to them and not the other way around.
What is the page rank of those I am linking with
  • Some members are high ranked pages and some have not built a ranking yet.
  • In all probability, a web site that has no rating at the time you create a link with, might just end up with the highest page ranking on all search engines and "you" will be in the enviable position of being listed on "their" web site's links page.
What if link I to the same person more that once.
  • The program precludes this from happening so you will not be annoying your associates with requests that are already in place
Can I have 2 of my own sites on one thread
  • No. Having 2 of your URL's on one thread is not permitted as it leaves the system open to abuse by unscrupulous individuals

 

 

Site Conditions (The Rules)

Rule 1. Any person who takes up a position in a Thread has 3 DAYS to place the link to the designated recipient on their site.

Failing to list within 3 days results in the offending URL/Email/IP address being banned from the site and NO correspondence will be entered into. Time extensions are available on request.

Rule 2. All Links MUST BE TEXT LINKS. If you are not prepared to list links as text links (not dynamic links called from a database) Do NOT occupy a position on a thread.

Rule 3. Any abuse of the "spirit" of the site results in the offending URL/Email/IP address being banned from the site. No correspondence will be entered into.

Rule 4. All links pages must be accessible (be hyper linked) from the front page of the site. This ensures the Search Engines can find a links page and stops unscrupulous person having others link to them without helping others.

Rule 5. The owners of trilinks makes NO Representations and make no guarantees whatsoever in relation to Search Engine Positions or any other intimations.

Rule 6. You are not permitted to occupy 2 positions on the same thread even if the URL's are different.

Rule 7. You are not permitted to have more than 10 Threads available at one time. This prevents a members opening 100s of threads one after the other and dominating the site.
